Guys, I'm not gonna pretend to be a football expert. I enjoy the game, but I'm definitely not gonna become a sportswriter anytime soon. That being said, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up an offensive lineman from Iowa in the first round of the draft yesterday, a guy by the name of Tristan Wirfs, who did the sweetest thing for his mom on draft day!
Because this year's draft had to be held virtually, the players and their families didn't get to experience all the usual fanfare of draft day, so Tristan brought the party to his mom, Sarah, in their front yard in Iowa.
Tristan and his family lived in a trailer until his was 5, and now he's a first-round NFL player. They raise 'em right in Iowa, y'all! Love this! Welcome to Tampa Bay, Tristan!
