Cops in Jensen Beach (on the east coast of Florida) caught a dude who broke into a Wendy's, stole a bunch of cash, and then cooked himself dinner!
Patrick Benson used a brick to bust out the eatery's front door after hours, then headed straight for the kitchen, where he took a patty out of the fridge, cooked and ate it. The heavy-set 34-year-old then hoisted the restaurant's safe onto his shoulders and escaped.
Wait, he WALKED OUT with a safe??! Wow.
Benson initially eluded authorities, but was identified and caught due to what was called a "distinctive tattoo" on his left upper arm.
I guess all that breaking and entering really worked up an appetite.
