I'd like to start by saying, this did NOT happen in Florida!
An Illinois mother was arrested for letting her two children ride in an inflatable kiddie pool, strapped to the roof of her SUV.
The Dixon Police Department received a call from a concerned neighbor who witnessed the Audi Q4 driving around with a pool tied to the roof with two minor children inside. When police arrived, the mother of the children said they'd been at friend's house where they inflated the pool, and the children rode in the pool to keep it from flying off the roof of the car on their way home.
*deep breath*
Wouldn't it have been easier to DEFLATE THE POOL and put the kids in the car?
