Should we change when we celebrate Halloween?

It's kind of a bummer that Halloween falls in the middle of the week this year. Adults who want to go to parties can't really stay out too late because they have to get up for work the next day, and it's rough for the kiddos to trick-or-treat on a Wednesday night and have their routines and bedtimes all disrupted.

Halloween has been celebrated on October 31st dating back 2000 years, but there's an official petition on from a group of people who are trying to get it moved from the last day in October, to the last Saturday in October. That way, kids and adults alike can celebrate without having to wake up so early the next day.

Now, we know that for people who don't work a regular 9-5 weekday job, moving Halloween to a Saturday doesn't really make a difference (restaurant people, I'm looking at you!), but for the kids, it would probably be pretty beneficial.

What do you think?
