Time magazine has put together a 2018 list of people who are changing the face of The South...everyone on the list is a Southerner, and they all buck the stereotype in some way. Kane, who is biracial, is breaking the mold by being one of only a handful of people of color who are making it in the country music industry. Kane is also heavily tattooed and doesn't wear "country" clothes, which certainly makes him stand out among his peers.
Kane is the first country artist--of ANY color--to top all of Billboard's country charts simultaneously, and his duet with Lauren Alaina, "What Ifs," is one of the most streamed country songs in history.
Keep doing what you're doing, Kane! We are loving it!
