I'll be the first to admit: I get hangry. That's what happens when you're so hungry that you start to get angry...hangry.
First of all, it's not your fault. Your lack of food is just messing with your brain. It's like the Snickers commercial says: You're not yourself when you're hungry. Lol, no kidding!
But this new study from the University of South Carolina explains WHY we get hangry! They found that when people were hungry, little things could quickly put them in a bad mood . . . and then, from that point, they started viewing EVERYTHING more negatively. People who had just eaten didn't do that!
In other words: Your hunger isn't MAKING you angry . . . your hunger is just messing with your head and making it easier for you to get angry about everything else.
Well, that explains a lot!
