I spend a LOT of time on the road. My commute to and from the station is almost an hour, and I see a lot of ridiculous and dangerous things while behind the wheel. But I've never watched someone intentionally run someone off the road before (although, now that I think about it, some jerkwad in a pickup truck tried to make me think he was going to run me off the road on the Veterans once. What a loser).
In Sarasota this week, a road range incident ended in the driver of a car intentionally running a motorcyclist off the road and crashing. Not that I would EVER condone this behavior, but I wonder what let up to this confrontation. From what we can see in the video, the biker is yelling and making hand gestures at the driver of the car, and at one point, appears to punch the side of the car; the driver of the car responds by running the motorcycle off the road. Again, that's NOT ok, but I wish we had video of what led up to this so we could get a clearer picture.
The incident was caught on a dash cam...if you know anything else about this event, I'd love to hear it!
