Bobby Bones Crashes Sugarland's Set at iHeartCountry Festival

There truly was not a dull moment at the 2018 iHeartCountry Festival, especially during Sugarland's set. The reunited duo was in the middle of their performance of their The Incredible Machine song "Stuck Like Glue," when all of a sudden, Bobby Bones crashed their set!

While performing the song, Bobby emerged on stage, dressed in an open red button down shirt, with a white t-shirt underneath, rocking a white baseball cap ... almost like a rapper. Bobby helped Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush sing their song as he danced around the stage in the process.

Hey, we're all pals, right?

During the rest of their iHeartCountry set, Sugarland also performed songs like "Bigger," "All I Wanna Do," "Let Me Remind You," "Something More," as well as their new single, the Taylor Swift penned song, "Babe." The song was released just a few weeks prior, and Jennifer and Kristian exclusively explained to iHeartRadio of how the song came to light:

"It started to get around that we were gonna be working together again; that Sugarland was gonna come back and do something together again. And, when that happened, Scott Borchetta reached out to us, and said, 'Taylor is excited about what you're doing, and she has a song that she would like for you guys to record, or to play, or to hear, or to consider.' You know, all these things. And, we're like, (gasps) okay. We really don't wanna mess this up. So, we listened to it and loved it, and then wanted to do it in the studio to see what might happen. And, luckily, we liked what it was."

They added, "It came out just fantastic. I would not have known that there is so much inside that song until we actually put it in our hands and into microphones. And, we were like, 'Wow.' And, then she loved it, which was then an added bonus. When you play another artist's song, especially for us, that we haven't had another artist's song on our records because we love to write so much. So, to have that, it's a lovely part of the album.

Hosted by Bobby Bones and Candace Cameron Bure, this year's iHeartCountry Festival included performances from superstar country artists including Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, Maren Morris, Sugarland, Luke Combs, Billy Currington, Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi and Brett Young

Country fans will be able to relive the best moments from the show during a special TV broadcast on Sunday, August 5th at 8pm ET/PT on FOX. The two-hour show will showcase never-before-seen collaborations, behind-the-scenes interviews with the artists, as well as guest appearances by Gavin DeGraw, Jana Kramer, Sam Palladio, Josh Henderson, Danielle Bradbery, Ryan Hurd and cast members from FOX’s hit drama, THE GIFTED.
