You see them all over Florida and the nation, but did you know these 8 fun facts about 7-Eleven?

1: They have their own private-labels wines!

In many states you can't buy wine or alcohol in convenience stores, but for those states that do allow it, 7-Eleven has their own private label wines ranging from Chardonnay to Pinot Grigio. Look for the brand "Voyager Point" at your local 7-Eleven to grab a bottle.

2: They have "Bring Your Own Container" Slurpee days.

People magazine reported that 7-Eleven has a "Bring Your Own Container" Slurpee day where you can fill up any container with this tasty, icy beverage for just $1.50, as long as it fits the "BYOC" cutout which is 10-inches in diameter, so pitchers are in, and 5 gallon buckets are out!

3: You can get a free Slurpee on Free Slurpee Day!

To celebrate 7/11 each year since 2002, 7-Eleven allows customers to receive a free Slurpee!

4: You can pay your IRS taxes at 7-Eleven!

We know by now that 7-Eleven is convenient, but did you know the IRS website states that you can pay your taxes at a nearby 7-Eleven store in cash for a small fee? There is only one restriction, you can only pay up to $1,000 per day.

From fresh food and snacks, to beer, seltzer and wine you can now get delivery from 7-Eleven! You should download the 7-now app to get access to over 3,000 in store items that can be delivered in around 30 minutes! The delivery services are available in Florida in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Daytona, Tampa and Jacksonville areas.

6: They weren't always called 7-Eleven!

The now famous chain which started back in Dallas, Texas in the 1920's was once called "Tote'm stores" to highlight the way people "toted off their purchases." In the 1940's they rebranded as 7-Eleven to acknowledge their operating hours of 7am- 11pm, now most locations are open 24 hours a day.

7: 7-Eleven sent a Slurpee into space!

It seems like everyone is rushing to take a trip into space, but long before Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos made their trip to space, 7-Eleven launched a Coca-Cola Slurpee into space using a balloon launcher from a Michigan store to celebrate the chains 94th birthday
