Tom Brady: 'You Won't Catch Me Dead Living In The Northeast Anymore'

Tom Brady has officially become a Florida "snowbird."

The former New England Patriots and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback recently expressed his admiration for the South Florida December weather, according to Bucs beat writer Rick Stroud, who quoted the 43-year-old quarterback as saying, "You won't catch me dead living in the Northeast anymore," on Thursday (December 10) via Twitter.

Brady is in his first season with the Buccaneers, after signing with Tampa Bay in March 2020. He had previously spent his entire career in much more frigid New England, where he led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories, nine AFC championships and 17 AFC East Division titles during 20 seasons.

Brady has experienced some highs during his first season with the Buccaneers, which included being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October, which was his 11th career Player of the Month award and his first as a member of the NFC.

However, the Bucs have lost three out of their last four games, which began with a 38-3 blowout primetime loss against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football in November.

For the record, Brady does still own a home in the New England area, which was broken into earlier this week by a man reported missing out of -- ironically -- Florida, as well as several TB12 fitness centers in Boston, as well as Gillette Stadium, the home of the Patriots.
