Nothing Spookier Than Celebrating Halloween In A Pandemic

The pandemic is enough to spook everyone this Halloween, but if you are planning on celebrating Saturday don't forget to follow the new normal guidelines. Florida International University Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Aileen Marty says you should not go door-to-door trick-or-treating, instead host a small outdoor gathering and where everyone wears a mask and maintains social distance. She says you should not allow anyone in your home even to use the bathroom, provide hand sanitizer for all guests and only serve individually wrapped candies. You may also want to post a sign on your door saying you will not be giving out candy this year to avoid having strangers come to your door.
