The Marlins & Rays Go to Summer Camp

Baseball is back!

The Marlins and Rays will hold their first official workouts today as part of MLB's preseason summer camp.

Major League Baseball resumes a very different kind of spring training today as the coronavirus pandemic scrambles the schedule. For one thing, spring ended almost two weeks ago. Also, teams will train in their home ballparks instead of their traditional spring training facilities in Arizona and Florida.

Teams will play a 60-game regular season beginning July 23rd. The schedule isn't out yet, but The Post has reported the Yankees will open July 23rd at the Nationals.
