Carly Pearce Will Cross Off A Bucket List Item On Her Honeymoon In Jamaica

Carly Pearce and Michael Ray got married about two months ago on October 6, but still have yet to go on their honeymoon. The couple revealed they wanted to delay the trip until the end of the year when they were both done with work for 2019.

Following Ray's last show on December 11 and Pearce's on December 12, the two will be ready to get their vacation started. They'll be staying at Sandals Resorts in Jamaica in one of the over-water bungalows.

"All I've ever wanted to do is go in one of those bungalows," Pearce told her label. "They just look amazing to me, and they're like, private and awesome and sexy, and finally get to go after we finish for December."

Ray and Pearce tied the knot in front of about 100 friends and family members at Drakewood Farm, just about 15 miles north of Nashville. The day was a bit rainy, so the couple opted for an "earthy and whimsical and romantic" country atmosphere.

“No one noticed the storms as we moved the ceremony inside,” Pearce told People. “The love and joy in the room was perfect to us. It was a truly romantic night!”

Since the big day, the couple apparently hasn't been able to see each other very often due to their crazy schedules. "Well, I think I see him less now than I did when we weren't married," the singer shared, adding, "It's funny, we get married, and then two nights later, we're gone again, separately."

After a crazy busy year, the tropical escape will be just what these two love birds need!

Pearce's most recently released song, "I Hope You're Happy Now" features fellow country singer Lee Brice. The new single along with the previously released track, "Closer To You" will be included on her upcoming self-titled album due out on Valentine's Day next year.
