Dr Yale Tung Chen was treating patients in Spain when he contracted Coronavirus. He's shared his experience with CNN, and I think it's worth looking at. He's been live-Tweeting his experience, as well as talking to news outlets from his home.
If you are sick--even if you suspect you have COVID-19--medical workers ask that you CALL YOUR DOCTOR, rather than just rushing to the ER. Sitting in the waiting room is only going to expose everyone around you. Let your healthcare provider advise you on how to proceed FIRST. Keep in mind that while all of these hospitals and clinics are dealing with potential Coronavirus patients, there are still other medical emergencies that are still happening on top of it, so rooms and personnel are limited.
