Kelly Clarkson has two very famous faces in mind for Team Kelly.

The friend to country music recently took a seat next to Hoda Kotb on the Today show and invited the morning TV staple to audition for The Voice when she joins the coaching panel for Season 14.

“Boom! You’re on my team,” Kelly says. “You going to try out? Please try out! Shock us all! Just be back there... You and Kathe Lee [Gifford], do a duet. Make her sing ‘Love So Soft,’ ‘cause she loves it!”

While there’s no official word if Hoda and Kathie Lee will take Kelly up on her offer, fans do know the original American Idol winner will take a seat next to Blake Shelton and Adam Levine after many years of talks with the hit NBC competition.

Kelly tells Entertainment Weekly she finally decided to occupy a spinning red chair because her family is “used to The Voice schedule.” After all, husband Brandon Blackstock is longtime coach Blake Shelton’s manager.

See Kelly (and maybe Kathie Lee and Hoda?) on Season 14 of The Voice, kicking off next spring. Watch Season 13 when it premieres September 25 on NBC.
