Gov. DeSantis Greeted by Pro-Palestinian Protestors at UF

(Gainesville, FL) - Governor Ron DeSantis speaking at the University of Florida today amid protesters chanting "Free Palestine."

UF President Ben Sasse joined Governor DeSantis in pointing out the stark difference between Florida campuses and others around the country overtaken by violence.

DeSantis warned them, "If you stop a graduation, you will pay the price." Sasse said UF is the most Jewish university in the country.

DeSantis says the upcoming budget includes $75 million for a new UF campus in Jacksonville adding that UF has gotten more state resources than any other institution in the state.

DeSantis also touted UF being the top ranked public university in the country per the Wall Street Journal.
