Tebow Time Is Over! Peyton Manning is Heading to the Denver Broncos

Manning will be the new quarterback for Denver, and Tebow will be traded.

Manning called Denver's VP of football operations John Elway yesterday morning to give him his decision.  He also called the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans to tell them they were outta luck.   Obviously, no word yet on what kind of deal Manning is going to get.  But earlier this month, he and Elway were discussing a 5-year contract worth $95 million.

Teams that have been mentioned include all three of the NFL's Florida teams:  The Jacksonville Jaguars, the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tebow won two national championships and a Heisman Trophy at the University of Florida.

*****There's word that the New England Patriots might be interested in picking him up as a backup to TOM BRADY.   Huh???  Well...it seems the Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was Denver's head coach when the Broncos drafted Tebow in 2010.
