TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A couple of Tampa Bay area filmmakers are ready to start production on a movie about the youngest person executed in the 20th century.

Ray Brown wrote the film and is producing it.

The movie is called 83 days - that's the length of time from the arrest of 14 year old George Stinney Jr. for a crime he didn't commit.

He was executed in South Carolina in 1944.
