TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Former Gov. Charlie Crist is blaming republican Gov. Rick Scott for being uninvited to speak at the council of 100 policy advisory group's meeting.

Crist was originally scheduled to speak to the group in Orlando on Thursday, but was taken off the agenda at the last minute.

The republican-turned-democrat who's seeking his old job with his new party said outside the meeting that he believes Scott was behind the decision.

Council Chairman Steven Halverson said the group decided it wanted speakers to stick to policy issues and didn't want the meeting to become political.

Scott's campaign didn't immediately respond when asked if Scott asked the group to cancel Crist's speech.
