PALM HARBOR, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol are asking for help finding a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash who ran away from the crash scene Monday evening in Palm Harbor.

The crash happened near the intersection of Alderman and Belcher roads around 8:37 p.m. and injured four people.

Investigators say a 1999 Chrysler 300 was traveling southbound on Belcher at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the car and sideswiped a 2014 Nissan Altima.

The Chrysler spun out, hit a curb, rolled over, hit a light pole and continued to overturn for another 1,700 feet.
