RUSKIN, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Amazon is hiring to fill hundreds of full-time jobs that come with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits starting on day one at their Ruskin fulfillment center.
Spokesperson Nina Lindsey says the wages are 30 percent higher than traditional retail jobs and the benefits include medical, dental, vision, stocks, 401k, bonuses, and a program called ‘Career Choice’ where they will pre-pay 95 percent of tuition for associates to go back to school in fields that are in high demand. That’s regardless of if the field is related to Amazon.
These are full-time hourly positions in which associates will pick, pack and ship customer orders.
They do offer seasonal positions closer to the holidays. Last year they hired 70,000 people for seasonal work.
